'Bout time I update this sucker...

Christmas break treated me well, and though I'm not sure I was ready to get back into the swing of school things, I was ready to at least tolerate it. I think I'm nearing my 'extended schooling' limit. It gets harder and harder to motivate myself to study/read even though I really do want to do well. Take right now, for example. It's MLK day, no school, and since I didn't receive my books until the end of last week, I wasn't able to study so I'm one week behind. Perfect time to catch up right? Sure. Any desire to jump on that? Nope. I'm blogging instead. Because it's too cold to play in the snow.

I'm taking a Perspectives course through Cornerstone right now; it's a lot of reading and thinking, but it is quite amazing how I can already start to see a change in my heart as I'm better understanding God's. It's inspiring really, and I can see why so many recommend it. I've only taken 2 classes and I already know I"ll be joining the ranks of those who will promote the class.

Work is good. I enjoy making espresso drinks and being responsible. Last week was terribly slow, probably because no one had homework yet. No doubt this week and in the weeks to follow, things will get much much busier. ~sigh~ I'm so used to it being slow, I'm not sure I'm ready for a surge in business.

On a side note, I've been having several dreams of my future husband lately. He has dark hair and professes his love to me in the basement of a building where a restaurant is. :) Yay!
